Referee Pay Information
Pay for the 2011 Season
This is a reminder that during the winter of 1999 BAYS passed a new bylaw (No. 12) concerning referees called the BAYS Zero Tolerance Policy. All referees must support the BAYS Zero Tolerance Policy and report any violations so that we can protect all other referees and help train our coaches and fans.
BAYS referee pay rate for the 2011 Spring Season is as follows:
| Boys/Girls U-19/U-18 | $60 (with or without AR’s) |
| Boys/Girls U-16 | $45 (With or Without AR’s) |
| Boys/Girls U-14,U-13 | $35 |
| Boys/Girls U-12, (8x8) | $25 |
| Boys/Girls U-10,U-9 (6x6) | $20 |
| Assistant Referee U-18, U-19 | $30 |
| Assistant Referee U-16 | $25 |
NOTE: Please refer to the BAYS website for pay process information.
I will notify referees when they come close to the $600 (1099) requirement. At which time I will hold checks until I receive the referee’s social security number.

We will be accepting applications for the Stephen A. Kokolski Memorial Scholarship Fund again this year. Only registered soccer referees who are pursuing a degree in engineering as a freshman or current college student are eligible.
